I think it's probably been well over a year since I've last posted on this board.
My film career has slowly but surely given way to a graphic design career, and three short films we did for small budgets on holidays have finished their festival run and are now just sitting around.
I decided I might as well just load them onto YouTube so they are at least out there for people to see.
I thought back to the people on this board, who's opinions I have always respected and wondered if any of you would do me the favour of going to my YouTube page and leaving (brutally honest) comments and critiques on the videos.
the address is at http://www.youtube.com/ghostofthebird.
I look forward to hearing everybody's opinions!

I watched "The Beauty Of Patience"
I liked it. Good short drama. Poetic. Beautiful.

I like that you described the film as beautiful poetry. 'The Beauty of Patience' gets the most varied responses out of all three of my short films.
I will never again tell a story in metaphors until I am sure I can get that film in front of the right audience.
Having said that, BOP is far from perfect, and even the 'right' audience may hate it, but it's better than the people who don't get it at all.
I had to laugh when I sat my uncle down to watch it and his conclusion at the end was 'so, the guy is gay, right?'.
EDIT : Not that there's anything wrong with that
